Health Anxiety Inventory (HAI)
The Health Anxiety Inventory (HAI) is a questionnaire designed to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours around health.
It helps identify whether you may be experiencing health anxiety — a persistent worry about having, or developing, a serious illness.
🧠What does it measure?
The HAI looks at things like:
How often you worry about your health
Whether you check your body for signs of illness
How you interpret physical symptoms (e.g., a headache or ache)
Whether health worries affect your day-to-day life
How easily you feel reassured after a check-up or test
It captures both emotional worry and behavioural patterns, such as checking, reassurance-seeking, or avoidance.
Certified. Responsive. Compassionate.
